Where’s Georgia?
Tomorrow is my last day at work. I’ve been there nearly two years, which is as surprising to me as it is to anyone else who knows me – who thought I’d last nearly two years at a heterosexual male-dominated IT company? I’ve had a blast, made some wonderful friends and learned so much. As a result, this week has been one of the most hectic weeks of my life as I rush to cross things off my to-do list and wrap everything up.
I move to France next Saturday (22nd March), so it’s even more hectic as I try to juggle my plans and packing with all the chaos at work and make time to say goodbye to my friends.
As a result, the blog (and most other parts of my routine) have been completely ignored. That doesn’t mean the blog is over and it certainly doesn’t mean I’m out of ideas – I’m just physically and mentally exhausted at the end of every day and all I want to do is lie on my bed and stare at the ceiling.
I’ll be back soon – sooner than you think – as after Friday, I’m unemployed again and I’ll have so much more time for all of you.
Thanks for reading!
