You know those people who know exactly what they want to do with their lives? That’s me. My whole life has been about writing, even before I knew I could make a career out of it.
Blogging awards are totally weird, but I rather like the idea of the Liebster Award, because there’s blogger involvement in it and it opens up both my readers, as well as other bloggers, to new blogs.
We had to cross the border down at Aqaba/Eilat, because tourists can’t cross the Jordanian/Israeli border near Jerusalem, so it seemed silly not to detour to the ancient city of Petra to check out the sights!
The odd thing about the Dead Sea, as compared to most water, is that you have to pay to visit it. You can either visit a hotel, which costs upwards of $50 or you can go to a “public beach”, which is a little cheaper.
I’m off to Jordan, Israel and Turkey for two weeks so I likely won’t be posting any updates here. However, you can keep up with my travels on my Facebook page while I’m away.

It’s been just over a week since Mardi Gras 2014, I’ve barely recovered and I’m still finding glitter everywhere! But can I say, what a festival – although it was hectic, I loved every rainbow minute of it.
